Texas has the third highest teen birth rate in the nation-and the highest rate of second births to those same teens.  It's time Texas students receive responsible, sexual health information. 

Contact your State Representative NOW.  Ask him/her to support amendments that Reps. Castro, Villarreal, and Strama will offer during the debate on SB 283. These amendments will help improve sex education in Texas schools.

Hello my name is _________________. As your constituent, I'm asking you to support the amendments that Reps. Castro, Villarreal, and Strama will offer during the debate on SB 283.  These amendments will greatly improve sex education in Texas schools and better help our young people make responsible decisions, prevent teen pregnancies, and remain healthy.

It's time Texas youth received sexual health information that really works to keep them healthy, prevent unintended pregnancies, and help them make wise decisions now and in the future.
